Thanuja Samarawicrama is an innovator and entrepreneur from Homagama. She has created a machine and use a business model which solve an environment and social issue. Thanjua created a mobile car wash machine, its effective as its use only about 20 Liters to wash car. As Thanjua explains usually it takes about 150 Liter of water to wash a car. She initial car wash center located k-Zone Ja ela. She targets on supermarket customers to wash their cars while they were shopping. She would like to rent her machines to other people to start their own franchise business under her brand. Thanjua thinks it helps to reduce unemployment of the country. She was invested Rs 2.5 million to produce 10 more machine. She has opened her 2nd car wash center recently.
