Project Introduction
Susantha Kumara is an Aloe Vera farmer from Tissamaharama. He plans to build an Aloe Vera Village. Currently, he supplies his harvest to companies which make various aloe vera related products, such as drinks and beauty care products. He provides plant pods to low income farmers and purchases them back and sells it to his suppliers. Susantha’s business helps to reduce unemployment, poverty in his area and promotes the local cottage industry.
