LIIN Catalyses Next Wave of Impact Investment in Sri Lanka
On October 22, 2025, the Lanka Impact Investment Network (LIIN) announced several landmark initiatives marking a transformative moment for Sri Lanka's economy and impact investment ecosystem, including the release of the country's first-ever impact investment landscape study, the establishment of the first Social Entrepreneurial Fund (SEF), the launch of the reality TV series On Eagle's Wings, and the announcement of Sri Lanka's inaugural Impact Investment Summit to be held on February 12, 2026; shared at a Colombo event with partners and stakeholders, the study-developed with WUSC and funded by the Government of Canada - highlights collaborative efforts to attract new forms of capital and position Sri Lanka as a credible destination for impact investors.
